Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your clinic's use of the Dentrah dental clinic software and of this website at dentrah.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between the dental clinic or practice that holds the account (“you”, “the clinic”) and Jantrah Tech Co UK Ltd, of 60 Overstone Road, Luton LU4 8QZ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Where an individual signs up, they confirm they are authorised to accept these terms for their clinic.

2. What the service is
Dentrah is cloud dental clinic management software, used in a web browser and through Android and iOS apps. It covers patient records, appointment scheduling, dental charting, examinations, treatment plans, prescriptions, invoicing and payments, doctor revenue share, inventory, cash-basis accounting, reports, and staff and branch permissions. An internet connection is required; there is no offline mode.
Dentrah runs on the jDent dental practice platform. Your clinic account opens at app.jdentclinic.com and the mobile app is listed as jDent in the app stores.
We may add, change or remove features as the software develops. We will not remove a module that your plan is built around without telling you first.
3. Free first month
- A new clinic gets its first month — 30 days — free, with every feature unlocked.
- No credit card is required to start, and there is nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.
- At the end of the free month you choose a plan, or the account stops being usable for new work. Tell us if you need your data exported.
4. Subscriptions, fees and cancellation
- Subscriptions are charged per clinic, per month, not per user. Staff logins are not charged per seat.
- Plans are published in INR, USD, GBP on the pricing page. We confirm the exact amount and the payment route with you before any billing starts.
- There is no setup fee, and no onboarding or data-import fee.
- There is no long-term contract. You can move from the limited plan to the recommended plan at any time.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month; the account stays usable until then.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Prices can change. We will tell you before a change applies to your clinic, and you may cancel if you do not want to continue at the new price.
5. Your responsibilities
- Accounts. Keep logins confidential, give each staff member their own account, set permissions appropriately, and tell us if you think an account has been compromised.
- Patient consent and clinical duty. You are responsible for obtaining the consent and giving the notices your own law and regulator require before you record patient data, and for the clinical decisions you make. The software records what you enter; it does not diagnose or advise.
- Accuracy. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the records, prices and invoices you enter.
- Tax and regulation. You are responsible for your clinic's own tax, licensing and record-keeping obligations. The software does not calculate tax: invoices show the prices you set, and GST, VAT or any other tax is not computed. Take your own professional advice.
- Lawful use. Use the service only for your clinic's legitimate business, and only for data you are entitled to hold.
6. Your data, and your right to take it with you
Your clinical, patient and financial records remain yours. You decide what to record and who may see it; we process that data to provide the service and to support you, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell it and we do not use it for our own marketing.
You can export your records while your account is active, and you can ask us to help you export them when you leave. A data-processing agreement is available on request.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: attempt unauthorised access to the service, other clinics' accounts or the underlying infrastructure; probe, scan or load-test it without our written permission; copy, resell or sublicense the service; reverse-engineer it except to the extent the law permits; upload malicious code; or use it to send unsolicited messages. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other clinics at risk.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee and we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, connectivity problems at your clinic and events outside our control can all interrupt it. Support is remote, in English, over WhatsApp and email, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST (UTC+5:30); enquiries are answered within one working day. There is no on-site support.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profit, goodwill or business, or for loss or corruption of data caused by anything outside our control. Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time as set out in section 4. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or where fees remain unpaid after we have asked for them. On termination your right to use the service ends; we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is deleted.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product or the law changes. The current version is always on this page with the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects your clinic we will tell you, and continued use after that means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a right you have under the mandatory consumer or data-protection law of the country your clinic is in.
